Work Content
Typical Duties Involve (but are not necessarily limited to):
- Book venues, hotels, transports, as well as event related necessities
- and organize event spreadsheets; analyze data
- Ensure exhibition delegates are given full support (travel schedules, hotels, visas, etc)
- Design and implement floor plans
- Manage inventory
- Plan various event related logistics
- Liaise with contractors and vendors
- Provide event materials for marketing teams
- Recruit and manage school ambassadors, translators, and part-time event staff
- Develop sponsorship opportunities and maintain relationships with local student associations
- Generate unique outreach opportunities and develop existing local partner relationships, particularly with Universities, colleges, schools, business groups, etc
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Keep promotional materials current by coordinating with marketing department
- Perform various follow up activities
- Perform ad hoc event duties, as required

Candidate Attributes & Experience

- University graduate
- A minimum of 2 years work experience related event planning or marketing
- Particular skills: client management, partnership management, venue management, organizational and logistical, interpersonal, communication, time management
- Creative and innovative
- Flexible and energetic
- Skilled in the use of technology as a business tool
- Ability to work under pressure and to timelines
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
