They are always
friendly I am a student at the university of St. Andrews in
Scotland. When I arrived at Edinburgh International airport
I met by a special driver who took me to St. Andrews. I was
very nervous at the time, although he patiently introduced
many things about St. Andrews and he needed to repeat himself
many times for me. Sometimes, some people say "Hello" to me
by actively when I walked on the St. Andrews streets. Once,
I met a little boy who said "Hi! My name is Jerry, I am 6
years-old, I like…." Then I felt very interested. Formerly,
I thought it was only the Chinese who openly friendly. Now
I know it happens in other countries as well. I am always
greeted with a lovely smile.
Britain is a country
where is full of beautiful views when I arrived here wide
openly fields and magnificent castles were my first impressions.
A fallen leaf touched me deeply while I was walking on the
footpath the whole street was covered with leaves. I would
say, this is an excellent environment for foreign students
to study.
When I study in
Britain I have many opportunities to join foreign students.
The parties and activities which have the chance to talk with
foreigners in English and learn some of the differences in
culture. That mean I am not only advancing my English language
ability in university but also my social life with other foreign
students.
