Studying
abroad has been long existing in my mind as a “task” must
be accomplished in my life. It is not only for obtaining an
academic degree or improving comprehension of English, but
also for exploring different world, experiencing different
culture, and broadening my view as well.
Thank sincerely to UK Education Advisory Service for helping me to fulfil my dream.
Through a colleague’s recommendation, I visited the Hsinchu UKEAS last Summer. I remember when I opened the door and entered the office, I felt a warm and friendly atmosphere. After discussing with them about my study plan, I found my first impression was correct because staffs there were very nice and helpful. No matter before or after my admissions application process, UKEAS gave me a lot of assistance and support.
Especially Jade, a very experienced and trustworthy advisor,
her invaluable advice and opinion are very important to me.
With treasurable information from Jade, I need not waste too
much energy to search schools, departments and courses, the
whole preparation procedure became simpler.
Specifically, owing to Jade, I could easily find the right
school, with good programme and nice environment just suitable
for me.
The most exciting and unexpected thing is, I am awarded the Taiwan Scholarship offered by the University of Sheffield which is worth 50% of tuition fee.
I am delighted; no doubt I should attribute the honour to
UKEAS’s service. Now I have just started my MA Education Policy
and Practice Programme at University of Sheffield in UK, so,
my “life task” is being undertaken finally.
Thank you all again to all the staffs in Hsinchu UKEAS!
