我的名字是Emma。而我來自英國的Wolverhampton。曾於Nottingham University學習俄文及歷史，在2000年來到台灣。在台灣時，先在彰化教英文，然後到澳洲及東南亞旅行了一陣子。在Leeds Metropolitan大學獲得TEFL/CELTA英語教學認證資格後，我再次決定來台灣，並選擇多彩多姿的台北城。

我曾在Head Start及Davids英文中心教成人英語。在英文學習雜誌Top English出版社待一年增加相關知識，但我很懷念教學，因此加入UKEAS。我真的很喜歡教IELTS考試預備課程，因為非常有挑戰性又刺激。

與不同學生相處幫助他們獲得申請英國大學的資格是非常有收獲的一件事。我喜歡台灣的天氣及生活方式，而每個在這兒的人都對我很好。在週末我喜歡騎著我的機車到鄉下玩，拍數位照片以及學中文。

 

While I have been here I have worked for Head Start and Davids English Center teaching adult classes. I spent a year with a publishing company expanding my knowledge of materials development with an English learning magazine called Top English but I missed the classroom too much and joined UKEAS. I really enjoy teaching IELTS because it is challenging and stimulating.

Meeting a wide variety of students and helping them to achieve a place at a British university is incredibly rewarding. I love the weather and the lifestyle in Taiwan and everyone is very kind to me here. At weekends I enjoy going for drives on my scooter in the countryside, digital photography and studying Chinese.
